Lots of attention the housing market past few days in the news as the Trump administration tackles the issue of housing affordability. Regardless of what you think of the current administration I like the fact they are paying attention to the matter and thinking creatively on ways to help get buyers off the fence and into a home. Real estate affects so many industries and getting more people into a home they own will directly impact local communities for the better. We will have to wait and see how these ideas take shape and what impact they will have. My hope is that 2026 will prove to be a better year for the markets and get Central Texas back to steady appreciation.
