With all the growth in Central Texas, having enough water for residents has been a critical topic of conversation for each city.  Cities like Round Rock, Cedar Park & Leander have partnered up to build a Deep-Water Intake Pump in Lake Travis to provide water to the cities as they grow.  Currently the primary water source for the city of Round Rock is Lake Georgetown.  Interesting enough the City of Pflugerville’s primary source of water is the Colorado River and the City of Hutto’s is the Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer.
